Art for Sesobel- Romy Stancofski's Fundraiser

With the support of the American Friends of SESOBEL, Romy Stancofski, a student at Cape Henlopen High School, organized an art sale for the benefit of SESOBEL. The paintings were done by the talented students of the high school as well as paintings donated by recognized local and non-local artists such as Kevin Fleming, Abraxas, Julie Baxendell, Rana Ryan, and Dolly Kacha.

Almost everything was sold! Romy raised just over $2,000 for the children of Sesobel in 2 hours. Over 15 teenagers helped in the set up, as well as friends and families who came from DC and NY to help out and support the Friends of Sesobel. Photos are of Romy, her dad Dr. Erik Stancofski, her mom Hiba Melhem Stancofski, and of the church fellowship hall where the exhibition took place and while setting up.

This was a great initiative. We are very grateful for the help and we’re waiting for the Stancofski family to visit us soon.
